Frequently Asked Questions

How does the process work?

The brief icon

1. The Brief
We begin by discussing what you’re looking for, what you want the product to achieve, and how it will reflect your business’s values. Holly Simons Motion Design will then send over a quote for what you’re looking for, detailing a breakdown of the items on the list.

The admin icon

2. The Admin
Upon agreements of the costs involved, we will submit to you the terms and conditions, a personalised contract, and an invoice for a 50% deposit of the total. Have a read of the information, and if you have any queries, please let us know. We’re happy to talk it through.

The choices icon

3. Design Choices
Once the contract is returned signed and the deposit received, the work can begin. Design routes (if applicable) will be presented to you in a PDF format. You can then select your chosen option and we will move onto the development process.

The build icon

4. The Build
The idea is then developed based on the selected option. We will present the final design to you for your approval. Three rounds of amends are included in the price. Want more amends? Not a problem. These are charged at our hourly rate but quoted to you for your sign-off before advancing.

The approval icon

5. Approval
Once the final design is approved by yourself, we will send over the final invoice to be paid before sending the requested files.

Why do I need a contract?
The design contract provides both the client and Holly Simons Motion Design with an outline on everyone's expectations and therefore protects both parties.

Can I provide my own ideas?
Of course! I love to hear about your visions of your projects so we can work towards this as a final goal.

Do you source stock images, footage,
audio or voiceover artists?

Yes! I am happy to provide these items upon request.

Do you provide scriptwriting?
If I have enough experience of the topic, yes. Alternatively, I can outsource this section to a copywriter who will quote you separately.

How quickly can you turn my project around?
Timing is dependent on our current workload. The return time will be outlined in the initial discussion of your project. A rush fee can be charged in which I work overtime to get your project returned to you as quickly as possible whilst still providing high quality motion design.
